In May of 2008, my boyfriend of five years FINALLY popped the question! It was on from there! Immediately afterward I went to work on looking for my location. The first few places I looked at turned out fairly promising. Even though I had thought I had found thee place, I still had that "what if" question in the back of my mind. What if there is something better, something more grand than what I had already came across. Well lets just say after three months of constant asking around and internet searching...I threw in towel! I wasn't going to find anything more perfect for me than the third place I had originally looked at. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful place and I am soo happy that I celebrated my special day there and I couldn't picture had having my wedding anywhere else...but, I was a little disappointed and frustrated with everything I had to go through just to find a specific location. I mean my location literally fell into my lap when a women over heard me talking about my frustrations. She had mentioned a place she had been to I looked into it, and the rest is history from there. If I hadn't came across that helpful women in the bridal store, I may have never known and I would have missed out on a truly beautiful place. That particular location did not advertise!
See, I could only go look into places that were listed...not every wedding location is listed! Here's why...a lot of these "diamonds in the ruff" as I refer to them, do not advertise they simply go by "word of mouth". So Idaho has all these websites, books and magazines, but they are only giving you half the information you maybe looking for. That really frustrated me. So I got this idea of creating a website listing every location I know of being out there, period. I started this site hoping to help out other Treasure Valley Brides who may be going through the same troubles I did. So I am doing my best to make a one stop shop for all you brides to be.
